If you’re thinking of booking a consultation, please read this first. I believe it’s important to outline how I work so you can decide if my approach feels right for you — before investing your time and money.

My commitment to you

If we work together, you can be assured that I will:

  • Listen carefully to your story and take your lived experience seriously

  • Work collaboratively with you to create a treatment plan tailored to your needs

  • Explain recommendations clearly, including the reasons behind them and any possible risks or uncertainties

  • Stay current with the latest training and research in ecological medicine, mould illness, and complex chronic conditions

  • Adapt treatment as we go, responding thoughtfully to your progress and feedback

  • Consult trusted colleagues and mentors if we hit complex challenges or slow progress

  • Always act with integrity and in your best interests

Earth in dappled light

My goal is to create a safe, collaborative space where you feel heard, supported, and guided on your path to better health.

And what I expect in return

A therapeutic relationship works best when both sides play an active role. To make the most of our time together, I ask that you:

  • Engage actively in your treatment process

  • Share concerns or difficulties with any part of the plan

  • Follow agreed plans as best you can, and let me know if circumstances change

  • Be honest about what’s working (and what isn’t) so we can adjust together

  • Keep scheduled appointments and give reasonable notice if you need to reschedule

  • Let me know about other treatments or practitioners you are working with, so we can avoid overlap or conflicts

This mutual commitment helps us build a collaborative, realistic, and effective approach to your care.

With the right nurture, we thrive

What this looks like in practice

Every patient’s journey is unique, but there are some common steps that help guide the process:

  • Initial consultation – a longer appointment where we take a deep dive into your history, symptoms, and environment. This allows me to form working hypotheses and suggest first steps.

  • Follow-up consultations – shorter sessions where we review progress, adjust the plan, and decide what to do next. To begin with I recommend a follow up every 6 weeks so we can build momentum and optimise your treatment plan. Once things are improving we can space out the reviews.

  • Treatment planning – your plan will always be individualised and flexible. We adapt it based on your response, sensitivities, and evolving circumstances.

  • Tracking progress – I may suggest keeping notes on your symptoms, tolerances, or changes, as this information is invaluable for guiding decisions.

  • Adaptability – healing is rarely linear. Each plan is a starting point. By putting it into practice we discover which parts are relevant now and which are not. We will review regularly and amend the plan so it remains appropriate and effective.

The aim is not a rigid protocol but a thoughtful, responsive process that supports your recovery at a pace you can tolerate.

Testing

Investigations and tests can be very useful, but only when they are relevant to your situation. I recommend testing only when it is likely to provide clear, clinically useful information that will guide treatment decisions.

I do not order tests routinely for the sake of it, and I aim to avoid overwhelming you with unnecessary results or costs.
